Letter to Ms. Pinel <br />February 14, 2001 <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />Transportation Chapter <br />The Household and Population projections by TAZ have been revised to reflect the land use <br />changes as discussed above. These projections result in a Household growth of 4,800 households <br />over the next 20 years or a 2020 household count of 10,750. This equates to a projected <br />population of 32,250 as reflected on the revised table on Page IV -2. Employment projections <br />only slightly increased to 9,050 in 2020. <br />Sewer Chapter <br />The sewer flow calculations have been adjusted to reflect the land use changes as illustrated <br />above. The current draft plan shows projected sewer flow for Ramsey in 2020 to be 2.88 Million <br />Gallons per Day (MGD), which is approximately 75% of capacity and a much greater use of the <br />system then the previous draft. <br />MNRRA/Critical Area Plan <br />The MNRRA/Critical Area Plan has been amended to address the most recent comments <br />received from the DNR relating to policy statements. <br />The City is requesting written notice that the Metropolitan Council has received all of the <br />information needed to begin the formal review process as stipulated in Minnesota Statutes <br />Chapter 473.175 and as per our agreements and extensions subsequent to our initial submission <br />in December of 1999. <br />Please feel free to contact me should you have any further questions regarding the City of <br />Ramsey Draft Comprehensive Plan.
