The amendments expand the Metropolitan Urban Service Area (MUSA) to <br />include the proposed development sites and update the City's development (wastewater sewer) <br />staging plan. <br /> <br />Brookfield Additions CPA proposes to change the land use designation ,of 156 acres from Rural <br />Developing to Low Density Residential to develop 235 single-family residential units. The site is <br />located two miles north of the City's 2000-2010 development staging area. The development will <br />include a conservation easement on the land along Trott Brook, the stream creating the site's <br />northern boundary. Proposed net density is 1.9 units/net developable acre. <br /> <br />Sweet Bay Ridge CPA proposes to change the land use designation of 102 acres from Central Rural <br />Reserve to Low Density Residential to develop 165 single-family residential units. The site is <br />located one mile north of the City's 2000-2010 development staging area. Proposed net density is <br />2.4 units/net developable acre. <br /> <br /> <br />. Ramsey is located in Anoka County, surrounded, clockwise from west, by Sherburne County, <br />Burns Township, Oak Grove Township, Andover, Anoka, and Dayton. (Figure 1) <br /> <br />. The 2030 Regional Development Framework designates Ramsey as a Developing community, <br />with some Rural Residential on the eastern edge. (Figure 1) <br /> <br />. Ramsey's 2000 Census: population, 18,510, households, 5,906, and employment, 3,587. <br /> <br />. Framework's 2030 Forecasts: population, 45,000, households, 16,500, and employment, 11,300. <br /> <br />.
