<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec requested that staff make sure that a temporary cul-de-sac is included. <br />/} 6Qo 49'1 <br />Motion by Councilmember Kur~~conded by Mayor Gamec, to adopt Resolution #OI-12:-~1 <br />adopting Findings of Fact ttAa1 relating to a request to rezone the southwest quadrant of T.H. <br />#47 and 153rd Avenue NW from B-1 Business to R-3 Urban Residential adding a finding to state <br />"That the proposed rezoning and development of the property will require a Comprehensive Plan <br />amendment to expand the MUSA boundary to include the subject property," <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Kurak, Anderson; Hendriksen, <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Kurak, seconded by Mayor Gamec, to introduce an ordinance to <br />rezone the southwest quadrant of T.H. #47 and 153'd Avenue NW from B-1 Business to R-3 <br />Urban Residential. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Kurak, Anderson, Hendriksen, <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #8: <br /> <br />Report from Personnel Committee <br /> <br />The Personnel Committee met on December 11,2001 to discuss the following cases: <br /> <br />1) Authorize Recruitment of Positions Included Under the 2002 Budget <br /> <br />The Personnel Committee recommended that the City Council authorize staff to begin <br />recruiting for the newly created positions approved under the 2002 budget. They are as <br />follows: Police - Community Service Officer (increase from part to full-time) and <br />Corporal (promote one officer; Public Works - Mechanic (increase from part to full~time; <br />and Engineering Tech IV (full-time); and Community Development - Associate Planner <br />(full-time). <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Anderson, seconded by Councilmember Kurak, to ratify the <br />recommendation of the Personnel Committee. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Anderson, Kurak, <br />Hendriksen, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />2) Receive Recommendation for Finalists for Assistant City Administrator Position <br />The Personnel Committee recommended that the City Council interview four finalists as <br />recommended by staff for the Assistant City Administrator position. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Anderson, seconded by Councilmember Kurak:, to ratify the <br />recommendation of the Personnel Committee. <br /> <br />City Council/December 11, 2001 <br />Page 23 of 25 <br />
