1. Exempt from the permit and fee requirements but shall be allowed • <br />only as accessory to an approved subdivision plat or site plan; <br />2. Limited to sixty-four (64) square feet in area; <br />3. Limited to one (1) such sign per street frontage upon . which the <br />property abuts, exclusive of directional signs; <br />4. To be removed when the project is one- hundred percent (100%) <br />completed, sold or leased; <br />5. Not to be located within fifty (50 feet) of a pre-existing residence. <br />b. Temporary real estate signs for the purpose of selling or leasing in4ividual <br />parcels or buildings in any distiict'are permitted and are: <br />1. To be removed within thirty (30) days following the lease or sale. <br />Subd. 6. Portable Signs are permitted only in business and industrial type <br />districts and are subject to temporary permit and fee requirements. Temporary sign permits for <br />portable. . signs .shall be allowed for seven (7) day periods, six (6) times a year per business. <br />However, where more than one (1) proprietor -ship or business uses the same building or parcel, <br />no more than two. (2) portable sign devices shall be in place at any one time. <br />Subd. 7. Public Event Signs may be erected and maintained for a period <br />not to exceed thirty (30) -days prior to the date on which the event -is scheduled to occur and shall <br />be removed within forty-eight (48) hours of the termination of said event. A fixed fee, as <br />established by City Council, per sign not removed within 48 hours following the termination of <br />the event will be charged and said charges will be.used to defray the cost of removal by the City.. <br />Number, location and size of said public event signs shall be subject to the approval of the <br />Zoning Administrator with consideration given to the public 'safety and the signage reasonably <br />necessary and appropriate for the intended purpose. <br />9.12.06 District Regulations.
