<br />Chairperson McDilda asked if Board Member Bentz was interested in recouping some of <br />the monies by selling the information. <br /> <br />Mr. Peterson stated that BWSR is having a difficult time financially currently. He stated <br />that Blaine got a Greenway grant at one time. He stated that the last time he checked <br />there wasn't any money available from Greenway. <br /> <br />Chairperson McDilda stated that once the city starts working with this data, other cities <br />may want to form partnerships to get in on this study. <br /> <br />Environmental Specialist Bacon asked how to approach the Anoka Conservation District <br />and why would they be interested. <br /> <br />Ms. Kampbell stated that the city now has ground truthing and knows more of the quality <br />of wetlands that are in the city. <br /> <br />Chairperson McDilda concurred that the ACD should be aware that this has been done <br />for the city. <br /> <br />Environmental Specialist Bacon stated that other agencies would be happy to know that <br />something was accomplished with or without grant money. He stated it was the same <br />way with environmental impact statements. It took many years before they were <br />cumulative. <br /> <br />Mr. Peterson stated that a copy of the report could be provided to the Anoka <br />Conservation District. <br /> <br />Chairperson McDilda stated that this is part of the education of residents. <br /> <br />Ms. Kampbell stated it is important to know for planning what wetlands need to be <br />preserved and what needs to be done to preserve them. <br /> <br />Board Member Bentz asked if Westwood Professional Services would be available once <br />the report is finished. <br /> <br />Coordinator Anderson stated that they would be available when it is presented to the <br />Planning Commission and City Council for adoption. <br /> <br />Case #3: <br /> <br />Ramsey3 Presentation <br /> <br />Community Development Director Trudgeon provided the EPB members with an <br />overview of the Ramsey3 initiative. <br /> <br />Prior to discussion about the initiative, Community Development Director Trudgeon <br />mentioned Environmental Specialist Bacon's retirement celebration on Wednesday, <br />adding that Coordinator Anderson will be promoted to take over his duties.
