<br />REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS <br />Update to City of Ramsey Water Resources Management Plan <br />, City Project 07.XX <br /> <br />I. PROJECT <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey is seeking the services of a qualified consultant to prepare an update to the City of <br />Ramsey Water Resources Management Plan (WRMP). <br /> <br />The analysis and subsequent recommendations will be incorporated into a document entitled, "The City <br />of Ramsey Water Resource Management Plan." This document shall be developed to meet the needs of <br />the City of Ramsey and the requirements of the Lower Rum RiverW atershed Management Organization <br />(LRRWMO). ' <br /> <br />The WRMP shall comply with or at a minimum not be in conflict with the aforementioned agencies <br />surface water management plans. The WRMP shall meet the provisions of Minnesota Statute 103B.235 <br />and Minnesota Rules 8410 and shall be in compliance with the City of Ramsey Storm Water Pollution <br />Prevention Program (SWPPP). The WRMP shall also provide an updated plan for surface water <br />. management for the entire City. ' <br /> <br />The following timeframe shall be followed for subrhittal and completion of the project: <br /> <br />. January 24-26,2007 - Meet with City Staff to discuss requirements <br />. February 16,2007 - RFP's due <br />. February 26 . March 2, 2007 - Firm Interviews <br />. March 13,2007 - City Council approves selected firm and authorizes notice to proceed <br />. March 14,2007 - Anticipated start date for selected firm <br />. June 8, 2007 - Draft report due to City (separate chapters submitted for review as completed) <br />. July 6, 2007 - Birm receives final comments from City of Ramsey <br />. July 27, 2007 - Final Draft Plan sent out to CCWD, LRRWMO, and Metropolitan Council <br />for review and comment <br />. August 14, 2007 - Hold Public Hearing, receive public comment <br />. September 21, 2007 - Comments due from review agencies <br />. October 26,2007 - Final Plan due to City of Ramsey (10 copies) <br />. November 13,2007 - City Council approves plan (additional 10 copies received after <br />approval) <br /> <br />II. PROPOSAL LAYOUT <br /> <br />A. Project Understandin2: A narrative which presents the firm's understanding of the <br />requirements including specific ideas the firm may have regarding certain aspects of the plan. Each <br />consultant shall meet with Citx staff prior to submitting their proposal to ensure that the City's needs <br />are understood. <br /> <br />B. Project Approach: The proposer shall present the overall approach to the project in specific <br />terms, including a discussion ofthe project management philosophy of the firm and how it relates to <br />this specific project. The project approach must include a detailed approach for each phase of the <br />project, including a discussion of the tasks to be performed and personnel assigned to each task. The <br />proposer shall identify any disciplines for which the firm intends to retain the services of a sub. <br />consultant, including sub-consultant firm name and team members who will work on project. <br /> <br />1 ' <br /> <br />20 <br />
