The City of Ramsey Foundation, Inc. will be inclusive, with a broad scope of service <br />and a focus that is solidly rooted citizen and business community needs. <br /> <br />The Foundation will work in tandem with the City of Ramsey, Ramsey businesses, and <br />other Ramsey area organizations to ensure needs within our growing community are <br />met as timely as possible. <br /> <br />Where Foundation can provide? <br /> <br />Based on needs determined appropriate to the Foundation's role and mission within the <br />City of Ramsey, the location of a physical donation or a planned event, educational <br />opportunity, or other service will be a collaborative effort with appropriate City or <br />community business and organization partners. <br /> <br />In the Manner Foundation will provide? <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey Foundation will gain funds to provide goods and services, as <br />appropriate to the Foundation's mission, primarily through private donations and grants. <br />The Foundation may choose to supplement such donations and grants with occasional <br />alternative fundraising methods, but does not intend these to be its focus. <br /> <br />The Foundation will approach how we will provide goods and services to the <br />community of Ramsey on a project-by-project basis. <br /> <br />As projects are presented through the Foundation's feasibility studies, through requests <br />for project proposals, and by City Staff and business leaders, the Foundation will review <br />and, with the aid of Advisors and Board directives, select those projects that meet the <br />needs of the broadest spectrum of the community and fully fit our mission statement and <br />By-Laws. <br /> <br />Upon project selection, the Foundation will partner with local Ramsey businesses to <br />provide project goods and services, only going outside Ramsey should a service or good <br />not be available within the City. <br /> <br />Ramsey Foundation Charter Business Plan 2006-07 _v1, Page 4 of 15 <br />
