<br />Business Plan <br /> <br />Executive Summary <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey Foundation, Inc. will-be inclusive, with a broad scope of service and a focus <br />that is solidly rooted citizen and business community needs. <br /> <br />The Foundation will work in tandem with the City of Ramsey, Ramsey businesses, and other <br />Ramsey area organizations to ensure needs within our growing community are met as timely as <br />possible. <br /> <br />The Foundation's focus is on the economic development of the City of Ramsey and to support <br />agendas for the City when tax dollars are not available is a needed function. A goal of such <br />action is to lessen the burden on the City of Ramsey and to aid their economic development <br />plans for the good of the community. <br /> <br />The citizens of the community will benefit and funds used will not come from tax dollars, but <br />through donations and grants. <br /> <br />Mission Statement <br /> <br />To foster strategies that will provide financial support for projects to benefit the citizens and <br />community of the City of Ramsey, Minnesota. The Foundation was formed to develop and <br />sustain positive plans that may not be funded or completed if they relied solely on gaining <br />access to tax dollars. <br /> <br />Founding and Objectives <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey Foundation, Inc. was founded in October 2005 with the mission as stated <br />above. . <br /> <br />As the Foundation gains momentum, it will partner with the City of Ramsey, other Ramsey-area <br />organizations, Ramsey businesses and our citizens to receive, review and accept proposals for <br />projects to: . <br /> <br />. Support and enhance economic activities (economic development); <br /> <br />. Support and enhance the general welfare of the community and fulfill improvements for the <br />citizens of Ramsey; and <br /> <br />. Work with the City, other organizations, Ramsey businesses and interested <br />citizens/Foundation Members on specific projects to meet Foundation objectives. <br /> <br />Obiectives <br /> <br />1.
