<br />Exhibit 3 <br /> <br />(b) All evergreen species that have a DBH of four (4) inches or <br />greater; and <br /> <br />(c) All other trees that have a DBH of eight (8) inches or more. <br /> <br />c. For all multi-family and commercial developments, a tally of the total <br />significant tree inches on the site. <br /> <br />d. Identification of which significant trees are to be preserved and <br />removed, as well as the significant trees that are exempt from the <br />calculation of total significant tree inches on a development site (as <br />specified under Section 9.24.04 Subd. 8). <br /> <br />e. For all multi-family and commercial developments, calculation of <br />removed significant tree inches from site (excluding exempt tree <br />inches) divided by the total significant tree inches on the site <br />(excluding exempt tree inches). <br /> <br />f. Proposed location( s) and details of tree protection fencing to be <br />installed for all trees to be preserved. <br /> <br />g. Existing soil conditions throughout the parcel; and <br /> <br />h. Existing contour data for the entire property with vertical contour data <br />consistent with City standards for all areas to be disturbed by proposed <br />tree removal operations, extending for a distance of at least fifty (50) <br />feet beyond the limits of such areas. Indicated elevations may be based <br />on United States Geological Survey data. <br /> <br />Section 9.24.04 Subd. 8.k (Tree Preservation Tree Density Standard Calculation) shall be <br />amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Subd. 8. Planting Requirements. <br /> <br />k. Tree Removal Threshold. <br /> <br />1. All multi-family residential developments shall retain at least forty <br />percent (40%) of the total inches of significant trees on a site after <br />subdivision. Any removal beyond.. this .. threshold shall require <br />reforestation, in addition to requiredhmdscapihg, or restitution. <br /> <br />2. All commercial developments shall retain at least twenty percent <br />(20%) of the total inches of significant trees on a site. Any <br />removal beyond this threshold shall require reforestation, in <br />addition to required landscaping, or restitution. <br />
