<br />Council directed that completed performance focus points be removed from the list of Long <br />Term Goals and Specific Performance Points, and that they be compiled in a report to be <br />included in the next issue of the Ramsey Resident. <br /> <br />Goal No.1: Complete build-out of Ramsey Town Center's residential and commercial <br />components in a manner that generates tax revenues in excess of debt service requirements for <br />infrastructure. <br /> <br />The following performance focus points were added: <br />· Monitor/manage the interplay between Ramsey Crossings and Ramsey Town Center <br />· Monitor change of ownership in Ramsey Town Center (City Options) <br /> <br />Performance focus point no. 4 (Ensure the availability of "state-of the-art " telecommunications <br />for all of the Ramsey Town Center, including Tiers II and III) was determined to be scheduled as <br />a work session discussion. <br /> <br />There was discussion of what the City's role should be with the group of Ramsey Town Center <br />businesses that have been meeting in relation to marketing for Ramsey Town Center. The <br />following was determined: <br />Marketing: EDA / Economic Development Coordinator <br />Liaison: Economic Development Coordinator <br />Project related questions and issues: Staff <br /> <br />Goal No.2: Create and protect an interconnected system of athletic areas, parks, trails and green <br />spaces throughout the City. <br /> <br />The following was determined to be incorporated into performance focus point no. 1: <br />· Complete Natural Resources Inventory <br />· Update and adopt Greenways Plan <br />· Complete and adopt Master Trail Plan <br /> <br />Council consensus was that performance focus points specific to individual parks should be <br />removed and incorporated into the Park CIP Plan. <br /> <br />Goal No.3: Implement a plan for urban growth in the City. <br />Goal amended: Complete and Implement 2008 Comprehensive Plan Update <br /> <br />Specific performance focus points to be rewritten. <br /> <br />Goal No.4: Complete new municipal center. <br />Completed - remove from list. <br /> <br />Goal No.5: Determine needs for future municipal facilities and acquire/preserve the land <br />necessary to meet these needs. <br /> <br />Performance Focus Point No. 4.b.: <br /> <br />· Remove: Completing municipal center <br /> <br />City Council Strategic Planning/Goal Setting/January 20, 2007 <br />Page 5 of 8 <br />
