The referendum
levy is divided into four separate questions. The first
question, if approved, will provide funding to avoid
future program cuts and fee increases. The remaining
three questions are dependent on passage of the first
question. Question two, if approved, will reinstate
100 teaching positions that were eliminated last year.
Question three, if approved, will provide funds to
eliminate bus fees for students living less than two
miles from school. The fourth question, if approved,
will reduce fees for athletics and other high school
activities. The School Board has also placed a
question on the ballot to approve a $12 million bond
issue to fund the replacement of outdated computers
and technology infrastructure.
