do <br /> <br />ho <br /> <br />jo <br /> <br />ko <br /> <br />There shall be no exterior storage of business equipment, materials, <br />merchandise, inventory, or heavy equipment. <br /> <br />The area set aside for home occupations shall not exceed 20% of the <br />total floor area of such residence. <br /> <br />Principal home occupations shall not include the employment of any <br />persons not residing on the premises in the performance of the <br />occupation. <br /> <br />The number of clients or customers permitted on the premises at one <br />time will be limited and shall not create a parking demand in excess of <br />that which can be accommodated in an existing driveway. <br /> <br />Off-street parking requirements must comply with seCtion 9.11.10 Off <br />Street Parking. <br /> <br />Sale of merchandise shall be limited to minor products that are <br />ancillary to the Principal Home Occupation operation and must be <br />displayed or stored within the principal dwelling. <br /> <br />The operation shall not be granted if the Findings of Fact determine <br />that the proposed home occupation may constitute a fire hazard to <br />neighboring residences, adversely affect neighboring property values, <br />or constitute a nuisance or otherwise be detrimental to the neighbors <br />because of excessive traffic, excessive noise, odors or other <br />circumstances. <br /> <br />In order to guarantee that a home occupation, once authorized, will not <br />become a nuisance to the neighbors or otherwise violate these <br />guidelines, the Planning Commissi0n may recommend and the Council <br />may impose, reasonable conditions necessary to protect the public <br />health, safety, and welfare. .. <br /> <br />Subd. 4. Accessory Structure Home Occupations <br /> <br />ao <br /> <br />Accessory Structure Home Occupations are permitted within an <br />attached or detached accessory structure provided that the <br />accessory structure is located on the same parcel as the principal <br />dwelling, unless otherwise approved by the City Council. <br /> <br />b.
