Councilmember Hendhksen felt that they could accomplish ~at by introducing the ordinance ~d then if Councilmember Anderson did not have all of her answers she could vote no at time of adoption. City Attorney Goodrich explained that one the purposes for placing a moratorium on property is to protect the planning process while considering the process of official controls, such as official maps. Councilmember Anderson stated that she did not think that they would have all the answers about the official mapping process in two weeks. Councilmcnnber Hendriksen stated that the purpose of the moratorium is to have a "time out" to consider the official mapping process. At this time they don't know what the outcome will be.
