07 OBJECTIVES A PLAN <br />20 C S ND WORK <br />• New plans for 2007 are italicized. <br />• Plans completed in 2006 have been removed. <br />• Standard print with no italics or strikethroughs are either ongoing or carry over <br />work plans. <br />ADMINISTRATION <br />Objective: Work with Staff and the Community to fulfill the policy and vision direction <br />of the City Council. <br />General Government Work Plan <br />1. Continue to work towards an e- agenda process, improve availability of city <br />records /documents on -line. <br />2. Make an application for an individual ZIP Code address for Ramsey residents. <br />3. Consider future use for of Old Town Hall renovation and potential relocation. <br />4. Reactivate Safety Committees. (Labor Mgmt. reactivated in 2003). <br />5. Continue to work with the Police Department, Fire Department and the <br />Ramsey Elementary School on Emergency Evacuation Plan. New plan in <br />process due to relocation of Municipal Center to new site. (on- going) • <br />6. Continue working with the Happy Days Committee to plan for the 2007 <br />Happy Days Festival events and parade (on- going). <br />7. Continue working on improvement of content of Ramsey Resident, including <br />addinzQ & A forum to the content. <br />Human Resources Work Plan <br />1. Recruit and select Patrol Officer, Public Works Utilities Maintenance Worker, <br />Asst. City Engineer, and PT Police Records Technician positions. <br />2. Solicit and evaluate proposals for changes to the employee benefits program <br />(ongoing). <br />3. Develop formal orientation process for new employees, including PowerPoint <br />presentation. <br />4. Continue Annual Employee training programs (sexual harassment prevention, <br />CDL training, diversity, etc.) (ongoing). <br />5. Ensure that Organizational Study recommendations are implemented at the <br />direction of the City Council. <br />6. Continue to develop Wellness Program. <br />7. Work with IT staff to expand/refine Intranet for City Staff. <br />8. Establish Employee Recognition program. <br />General Government Buildings Work Plan <br />1.
