• <br />Goal No. 4: Determine needs for future municipal facilities and <br />acquire /preserve the land necessary to meet these needs. <br />Specific Performance Focus Points to be addressed during <br />2007 -2008: <br />• Water treatment facility planning and identification of required <br />resources. <br />• Recreational programs and facilities — to include community <br />center. <br />• Fiscal forecast model. <br />• Public facilities including: <br />o Fire stations 2 and 3 <br />o Explore current city hall campus use (potential school <br />facility) <br />• Water utility improvements. <br />• Sewer treatment facilities. <br />• Conduct Space Needs Analysis for future facilities /land, which <br />could include Public Works Facility, range, kennel, and a <br />recycling /compost facility. <br />Goal No. 5: Modify Comprehensive Plan, Transportation Section, to include a <br />multi -modal transit plan that specifically includes the Northstar <br />Station and advocate with other agencies to develop a Regional <br />Transportation Plan to support the needs of the Ramsey <br />community. <br />Specific Performance Focus Points to be addressed during <br />2007 - 2008: <br />• Amending the Comprehensive Plan to include a Multi — <br />Modal Transportation Section. <br />• City development projects within the Ramsey Town Center <br />that support multi -modal transportation. <br />• Monitor progress of Full Funding Agreement for Northstar <br />. and work to secure station in Ramsey <br />• GREP <br />• Adopt arterial road plan. <br />• Work toward preservation of right -of -way and construction <br />of a Mississippi River Bridge Crossing. <br />• <br />• <br />_80- <br />
