The Minnesota State Fire Code, including all adopted appendices as amended by the State of Minnesota, <br />is incorporated into this article as if fully set out herein, subject to any local amendments, deletions, or <br />modifications adopted by the City of Ramsey. <br />The Fire Chief or designee shall have the authority to conduct inspections, issue permits where <br />authorized, issue notices of violation, issue orders to correct hazardous conditions, and pursue any <br />enforcement action authorized by law. <br />A copy of the Minnesota State Fire Code shall be maintained by the Ramsey Fire Department and made <br />available for public inspection as required by law. <br />Sec.22-3— Inspection and Service Fees. <br />The Fire Department is authorized to impose fees for certain inspections and services provided <br />for individuals and entities in the City. The fees will be established from time to time by <br />resolution of the City Council. <br />SECTION 3. SUMMARY <br />The following official summary of Ordinance #26-15 has been approved by the City Council of the City <br />of Ramsey as clearly informing the public of the intent and effect of the Ordinance. <br />"The purpose of Ordinance No. 26-15 is to amend Chapter 22 of the Ramsey City Code by updating the <br />City's fire code provisions to adopt the 2020 Minnesota State Fire Code, incorporate applicable state law, <br />and revise related administrative and enforcement provisions." <br />SECTION 4.
