<br />Councilmember Jeffrey stated it was the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to <br />approve the labor agreement as presented. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Jeffrey, seconded by Councilmember Olson, to ratify the <br />recommendation of the Personnel Committee in Case No.3 and to adopt Resolution #07-02-058 <br />approving the 2007 Labor Agreement with AFSCME. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Jeffrey, Olson, Dehen, Elvig, <br />Look, and Strommen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #9: <br /> <br />Report from Public Works Committee <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvig indicated the report from the Public Works Committee will be addressed <br />in the following order: Case Nos. I, 6, 3, 5 and 2. (Case No.4 was included earlier in the <br />Council agenda) <br /> <br />1) Review Annual Water System Complaints <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski stated the Committee was provided with the annual review of water <br />system complaints. It was reported that the most numerous type of complaints received <br />continues to be relative to high iron concentrations in the water. Noticeably reduced over <br />previous years is the number of low pressure complaints. The other complaints received include <br />odor, hardness, and sand in the water. <br /> <br />No Council action required. <br /> <br />6) Approve Contract Amendment for Design of Armstrong Boulevard <br />Improvement Project #06-20 <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski indicated this case was moved to a Council work seSSIOn for <br />discussion. <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvig stated Mayor Gamec and he sat in on a subsequent meeting with the <br />County, and he believes there were more meetings after they left with the County and MnDOT. <br />This design is still in flux. <br /> <br />No Council action required. <br /> <br />3) Request for Quit Claim of Remnant Parcel of City Property <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski stated the City received a letter from Mr. James Provinzino, the owner <br />of the property at 6304 Highway 10, requesting that the City quit claim to him a 2,022 square <br />foot parcel that is located between his property and Riverdale Drive. The recommendation of the <br />Public Works Committee was to agree to the quit claim deed to Mr. Provinzino free of charge; <br />however, the City would retain drainage, utility and trail easements.
