Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION # <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A NEW SALARY RANGE FOR THE <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR POSITION <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council hired Waters- Oldani Executive <br />Recruitment to assist with the recruitment and selection of a new city administrator; and <br />WHEREAS, upon reviewing comparative salary information the City Council <br />believes that an increase to the city administrator salary range is warranted; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council to attract and retain the best <br />qualified applicant for the city administrator position. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE, OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />The City Council of the City of Ramsey accepts staffs recommendation to set the <br />maximum annual salary for the city administrator position at $120,000. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 27 day of March 2007. <br />G:\ Administration\ HumanResources\Recruitment\Admin \City Admin\2007\staff report 3 -27 -07 (salary, timeline, job description).doc <br />-138- <br />
