PC# 3 <br />PUBLIC SAFETY BOARD INTERVIEWS <br />By: Givonna Reed Kone, Human Resources Manager <br />Background <br />During the City's most recent recruitment process a vacancy on the Public Safety Board <br />was advertised. Two individuals submitted applications and expressed strong interest in <br />serving on the Public Safety Board. Upon completing interviews, members of the <br />interview panel (the Personnel Committee and the chair of the Public Safety Board) <br />elected to table the appointment. <br />The Public Safety Board vacancy was readvertised on the City's website and on the local <br />cable channel. Applications were received from two individuals: Al Pearson and Brian <br />Kowalzek. <br />Staff has scheduled Mr. Pearson and Mr. Kowalzek to interview for the Public Safety <br />Board on Tuesday, March 27, 2007.
