Motion by Chairperson Nixt, seconded by Commissioner Brauer, to recommend the City Council <br />adopt Findings of Fact favorable to the applicant, relating to a request from Florence Kahlstorf <br />for a home occupation permit to establish an in home massage therapy business on the property <br />located at 7136 159th Lane NW. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Commissioners Brauer, Reeve, Van Scoy and <br />Watson. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Johnson and Shepherd. <br /> <br />Motion by Chairperson Nixt, seconded by Commissioner Van Scoy, to recommend approval of <br />the issuance of a home occupation permit to establish an in home massage therapy business on <br />the property located at 7136 159th Lane NW based on findings of fact and declaring terms of <br />permit. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Commissioners Van Scoy, Brauer, Reeve, and <br />Watson. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Johnson and Shepherd. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik noted if there are people in the audience for Duck <br />Ridge, Case #5, the application has been withdrawn. <br /> <br />Case #2: <br /> <br />Request for a Conditional Use Permit to Exceed Accessory Building Size <br />Restrictions; Case of Daryl Richmond <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik explained that the City received an application from <br />Daryl and Carol Richmond for a conditional use permit to exceed the accessory building size <br />restrictions established in City Code on the property located at 17623 Marmoset Street NW. She <br />stated the subject property is approximately 1.94 acres in size. Under City Code, this property <br />can have up to 1,664 square feet of accessory building space. She noted the proposed building <br />will be 1,440 square feet in size, and the existing garage is 624 square feet, which totals a 400 <br />square foot overage. She advised staff is recommending approval of the conditional use permit <br />to exceed the accessory building size restrictions established in City Code. <br /> <br />Citizen Input <br /> <br />There was nolle. <br /> <br />Motion by Chairperson Nixt, seconded by Commissioner Reeve, to close the public hearing at <br />7:13 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Commissioners Reeve, Brauer, Van Scoy, and <br />Watson. Voting No' None.
