Councilmember Haas Steffen stated this issue should have been caught prior to the Council <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Mr. Erkenbrack advised there was a restructuring of Northern Airgas and they have now been <br />incorporated under the name of Airgas North Central. <br /> <br />Case #5: <br /> <br />Request for Authorization for Execution of a Development Agreement with <br />McKinley Street, LLC <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich explained the proposed development agreement with McKinley Street, <br />LLC, is for construction of a multi-tenant facility which will be located in Development District <br />No. 1 and T1F District No. 2. The major tenant of the facility is of the printing industry. The <br />project has increased in size from what was originally envisioned at the beginning of negotiations. <br />City Attorney Goodrich noted that McKinley Street, LLC, will be a 48,000 square foot facility <br />with an estimated market value of $2.5 million. It is anticipated that the project will generate <br />approximately $93,000 per year toward the TIF District which will be used to pay for <br />improvement costs. The TIY District is scheduled to be completed in the year 2012. Staff <br />recommends the Council authorize execution of the development agreement with McKinley <br />Street, LLC, contingent upon review by the City Attorney. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beyer and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to authorize the <br />execution of a development agreement with McKinley Street, LLC, contingent upon review by <br />the City Attorney. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Beyer, Zimmerman, Beahen, and <br />Haas Steffen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #6: Receive Bids and Award Contracts for the 1998 Street Maintenance Program <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski explained the 1998 Street Maintenance Program consists of seven crack <br />fill and sealcoat projects covering 12.5 miles of City streets and five overlay projects covering 3.7 <br />miles of residential streets and 4.0 miles of MSA streets. In addition, a separate schedule added a <br />small street reconstruction project in Burns Township adjacent to the Rodeo Hills subdivision <br />which will be receiving a bituminous overlay. The cost of that work will be paid directly by Bums <br />Township. <br /> <br />Mr. Jankowski explained how this project was divided into four Divisions and noted the 1998 <br />Street Maintenance Program received a public hearing on March 10, 1998, and the Council <br />approved plans and specifications and authorized advertisement for bids on May 12, 1998.
