Case #2: <br /> <br />Request for a Conditional Use Permit for a Personal Communication Service <br />Tower; Case of U.S. West Wireless <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated the tower would be 60 feet back from Highway #10. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Anderson, seconded by Commissioner Deemer, to amend Findings of <br />Fact #13 - 18 in the affirmative and recommend that City Council adopt amended Findings of Fact <br />relating to a request from U.S. West Wireless for a conditional use permit to construct and <br />operate a personal communication system tower. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Anderson, Deemer, LaDue, <br />Terry, and Wivoda. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Jensen. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer, seconded by Commissioner Anderson, to recommend that City <br />Council approve the request for a conditional use permit and adopt a resolution declaring terms of <br />same. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Absent: Commissioner Jensen. <br /> <br />Case #3: <br /> <br />Request for a Conditional Use Permit to Grade an Export Soils; Case of <br />Gerald Bauer <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer, seconded by Commissioner Anderson, to table action on <br />Gerald Bauer's request for a conditional use permit for grading and exporting soils until revisions <br />and additional information is submitted. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Anderson, LaDue, <br />Terry, and Wivoda. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Jensen. <br /> <br />Case #4: <br /> <br />Request for a Conditional Use Permit to grade and Export soils; Case of <br />Michael LeBlanc <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski indicated staff was concerned regarding the steep slopes along the <br />western and southern boundary on the grading plan submitted. He stated the slopes are 25% of 4 <br />to 1. He indicated the City Code specifies 12% and recommended slopes be flattened to 12%. <br />Mr. LeBlanc indicated having no problem with the request. <br /> <br />Chairperson Bawden inquired if the grading plan should be resubmitted. City Engineer Jankowski <br />indicated the grading plan could be approved contingent on the flattening of the slopes. He <br />indicated an additional concern was regarding erosion control during the construction. A silt <br />fence was proposed to contour along the southeastern comer of the property.
