Absent: Chairperson Bawden and Commissioner Jensen. <br /> <br />Case/12: Request for a Conditional Use Permit to Exceed the Maximum Single <br /> Accessory/Structure Size Restrictions; Case of Scott Lebakken <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik explained the subject property is .9 acres in size and is restricted to a <br />total of 1,488 square feet of garage and accessory building space. Additionally, there is a 624 <br />square foot size restriction on any single accessory structure. The applicant currently has a 528 <br />square foot attached garage and is proposing to construct a 960 square foot accessory building in <br />which to store his personal recreational equipment. She indicated the addition of the proposed <br />960 square foot accessory building complies with the parameters for total garage space allowed <br />on the subject property, but it will exceed the maximum single building size by 336 square feet. In <br />order to comply with City Code single building size restrictions, the applicant would have to build <br />a 624 square foot detached garage and increase the size of his attached garage by 336 square feet. <br />If the addition is added to the attached garage it will prohibit access to the detached garage. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner LaDue, seconded by Commissioner Wivoda, to accept Findings of Fact <br />#1 - 11 as presented. <br /> <br />Motion Carried.
