d) Sub-Committees of City Councilor Commissions e) Administrative 2) Organized Groups: a) Senior Citizen Groups b) Groups performing a public service (e.g., AA, Mediation Services, Educational Services) c) Groups whose purpose is to perform public service (e.g. Boy or Girl Scouts, AR~AA, Women of Today) d) Groups who wish to use the facility for recreation or routine meetings 3) General Public 4) Church or Religious Organizations RESERVATIONS Reservations may be made no more than six months in advance with the exception of annual lease agreements. Governmental functions normally are scheduled at a minimum of three days in advance. However, this requirement may be waived if the need is great or an emergency exists. Governmental functions may supersede any other use with or without reservations if (1) three days notice is given; and (2) there is no other practical alternative. An attempt should be made, as practicable, to find other alternatives and give three days notice whenever possible. Organized groups or the general public may-must make reservations for use of the facilities in writing at least 14 days in advance of the event. FEES AND DEPOSITS The permit to utilize a room within a city facility is valid only for the date and time specified and must be in the possession of a responsible party at each event. In order to meet the coordination, facilitation, and maintenance costs which result from continued use of these facilities, a per event, non-refundable fee is charged for all reservations ofthe facilities, except for the following groups/functions: a) Governmental functions b) Senior citizen groupsRamsey Seniors Club c) Youth or youth oriented groups (Boy or Girl Scouts, ARMAA. Youth First) ejd) Ramsey community organizations (Ramsey Rotarv, Ramsey Lions, Ramsey Garden Club, Ramsey Women of Today) This rate will be based on a resident versus non-resident basis and will be reviewed and adjusted periodically by Council resolution.
