<br />Outside groups using audio visual equipment will be charged and additional rate of <br />$18.91 pcr hour to set up and monitor thc use of the audio visual equipmcnt. A staff <br />membcr must be prcsent whenevcr City owned audio and visual cquipment is unlocked. <br />Projection screens are provided in most conference rooms at no cost to the user. Fourteen <br />(14) day notice must bc givcn prior to event for use of City owned audio and visual <br />cquipment. <br /> <br />FOOD AND BEVERAGE IN MEETING ROOMS <br /> <br />Food and Beverage may only be served and/or consumed in the Central Park building or <br />the Alexander Ramsey Room (Municipal Center). Food and beverage may not be <br />consumed in the Municipal Center Conference Rooms (Mississippi River Room, Rum <br />River Room, Lake ltasca Room, Trott Brook Room). <br /> <br />Coffee service is provided in the Alexander Ramsey Room. The fee for use of the coffee <br />service by outside groups is set annually by the City Council by resolution. Coffee must <br />be purchased from the City for use in the coffee service. Outside percolators, coffee pots, <br />or similar equipment may not be brought in for use in the Alexander Ramsey Room. No <br />storage of equipment is allowed in the Alexander Ramsey Room kitchen by outside <br />groups. <br /> <br />SMOKING <br /> <br />All municipal facilities are public buildings and are smoke free. Smoking is not <br />permitted in any of these facilities or on the Municipal Center Campus and Municipal <br />Parking Facility. <br /> <br />STORAGE <br /> <br />The Municipal Center is not to be used for storage of equipment or supplies for organized <br />groups of the general public. Items, equipment and supplies must be removed after each <br />meeting. <br /> <br />ALCOHOL & CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES <br /> <br />Controlled substances and/or alcoholic beverages shall not be brought on the premises or <br />consumed at the facilities. Alcoholic beverages are defined by state law as any beverage <br />containing more than one-half of one percent alcohol by volume. Alcoholic beverages <br />may be allowed on the premises for special events as permitted by the City Council. <br /> <br />USE OF CANDLES <br /> <br />Candles may be used for celebration purposes but must be used under supervision and in <br />accordance with the following guidelines: <br />
