Qualifications should, stipulate minimal job-relevant requirements and <br />also include additional desirable job-relevant qualifications~ A critical decision in <br />establishing job-relevant qualifications is determining required and desirable levels <br />of experience and education concerning essential supervisory and administrative <br />job functions. The consultant is' available to meet with City officials to provide <br />assistance in developing job-relevant minimal and desirable qualifications. <br /> <br />In order to encourage qualified applicants to apply~ the .City should plan its <br />recruitment strategy. Recruitment at this level typically 'includes not only <br />determining where to advertise the notice of-job opening and requirements, 'but <br />also what information to provide. Additionally, contacts may also be' made With <br />City Administrators and Human ResOurce Managers concerning the job <br />opportunity. The consultant has broad contacts with other governmental agencieS <br />and is available to assist the City in. the development and implementation of a <br />recruitment strategy. . <br /> <br />Estimated hours = 12 hours @ $109.00/hr. ' $1,308.00 <br />*This does not include the costs of advertisements. <br /> <br />ASSISTANCE IN SCREENING APPLICANTS <br /> <br />The consultant is available to assist the City in screening candidates to determine <br />an appropriate candidate pool for further Consideration.
