The City's focus was to <br />assess 'the potential for new development and create a commurfity center wh/Ie focusing on <br />increasing densities and higher percentages 0fmixed-use development according to the princi- <br />ples of traditional neighborhood development. The City's focus <br />was to retain existing businesses and assess the potential for new development while focusing on <br />increasing densities and higher percentages of m/xed-use develOPment according to the princi- <br />ples of traditional'neighborhood development. The team analyzed the market potential for a <br />variety of uses in the identified redevelopment area and provided recommendations regarding the <br />amouht of housing, retail and office use supportable over a period often years.'
