<br />Motion by Councilmember Jeffrey, seconded by Councilmember Elvig, to introduce an <br />ordinance to vacate the drainage and utility easements within Outlot E, Brookfield 1 st Addition, <br />contingent upon staff review of the mylars for Brookfield 2nd Addition. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Jeffrey, Elvig, Dehen, Look, <br />Olson, and Strommen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #2: <br /> <br />Consider Resolution Proclaiming May 31, 2007 as Pastor Blair Anderson <br />Day in the City of Ramsey <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated Pastor Blair Anderson has been active in the community and working with <br />the youth and scouts and throughout the community. He has had the honor of working with <br />Pastor Anderson on several occasions; he is an outstanding person working with the community <br />on a whole. Pastor Anderson has brought people into the church from all over and served the <br />community and youth outstandingly. He will be moving out of the area sometime in the near <br />future. There will be a reception at Lord of Life Church on May 31 st beginning at 7:00 p.m. <br />Mayor Gamec recited the resolution proclaiming May 31, 2007 as Pastor Blair Anderson Day in <br />the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec, seconded by Councilmember Elvig, to adopt Resolution No. 07-05- <br />128 Proclaiming May 31, 2007 as Pastor Blair Anderson Day in the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />Further discussion: Councilmember Jeffrey stated he has the privilege of living near Lord of <br />Life Church. Lord of Life and Blair Anderson have been a part of their community for a long <br />time. It will be an honor to name a day in Pastor Anderson's honor. He met Pastor Anderson a <br />few years ago on Christmas Day when the Pastor was locked out of his car, and he gave him a <br />ride home. He will be m.issed in the community and he wishes him well on his new endeavors. <br />Councilmember Elvig stated he has known Pastor Anderson for a number of years. The Mayor's <br />comments are on the button. The Pastor has been very insightful with the church. The church <br />grew the facilities and put in gyms, which is very unique. Different groups have been invited <br />and it has been the place' to congregate for the kids to find something to do, other than being on <br />the street. Pastor Anderson has driven and grown that church, and he will be missed a great deal. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting! Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Elvig, Dehen, Jeffrey, Look, <br />Olson, and Strommen. \{oting No: None. <br />, <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec directed staff to forward the resolution to Lord of Life Church by Friday. <br /> <br />Case #3: <br /> <br />Request for Preliminary Site Plan Review of Crest View at Ramsey Town <br />Center; Qase of Crest View Senior Communities <br />i <br /> <br />Associate Planner Geisler stated Crest View Senior Communities has submitted a site plan and <br />minor plat application to construct a multi-story senior housing and assisted living complex on a <br />portion of Outlot AA of Ramsey Town Center Addition. The property is located south of <br />Sunwood Drive, east of the Municipal Center.
