<br />Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #07-XX-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT FOR TOWING SERVICES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on council direction, the City of Ramsey Police Departmentreleased <br />requests for proposals for contracted towing services for the City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, notice was published in the Anoka County Union for two weeks, May 18, <br />2007 and May 25,2007 and the deadline for proposals was Friday, June 1,2007 at 4:30 p.m.; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, one (1) proposal for the towing services was received and met all of the <br />requirements of the Request for Proposal. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council authorizes contracted towing services with North Star Towing, for a <br />two (2) year term, commencing upon adoption of this resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by, Councilmember and <br />upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this day of , 2007. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br />-118- <br />
