-140- <br /> <br />Councihnember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING BKV GROUP PROPOSAL FOR <br />PRELIMINARY PLANNING FOR CITY HALL AND POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />AND USE OF FUNDS FROM COUNCIL CONTINGENCY FUND <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a Space Needs Assessment has been completed for the Police <br />Department; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Space Needs Assessment previously completed in 1999 for City <br />Hall has been updated to reflect current projections; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, to provide for Preliminary Planning for City Hall and Police <br />Offices, BKV Group has submitted a proposal for the development of building schemes <br />and to begin work with the proposed site in Ramsey Town Center. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey authorizes proceeding with the <br />proposal from BKV Group for Preliminary Planning for City Hall and Police <br />Department at a cost not to exceed $7,000. <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey authorizes the use of Council <br />Contingency Funds for this purpose. <br /> <br />The lnotion for the adoption of the foregoing resolutiOn was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 27th day of May 2003. <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> t <br />-! <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br /> <br />
