Happy Days will once <br />again be held in Town Center at the <br />new Ramsey Municipal Center and <br />Parl(ing Facility. This great commu- <br />nity tradition continues to build on <br />past success and traditions, and looks <br />forward to growing each year. <br />Happy Days began in 1999 as <br />the city of Ramsey 25th Anniversary <br />Celebration. The event was such a <br />huge success, it was decided to con- <br />tinue this great community tradition, <br />and thus Happy Days was born. The <br />event continues to grow each year, <br />attracting more and more attendees, <br /> <br />Public Notice <br /> <br />Happy Days 2007 <br />Planning is Underway <br /> <br />sponsors, and volunteers. The Happy <br />Days Committee is proud to again be <br />located in Town Center. <br />This year will feature a Car <br />Show, Craft Show, Bingo, Photo Con- <br />test, Kid's Events, 5k Run/Kid's Fun <br />Run, Parade and a Street Dance with <br />the Rockin' Hollywoods. This event <br />is free to attend and food vendors will <br />be on site throughout the day. Regis- <br />tration will begin soon for the various <br />events. <br />On Friday, September 14, <br />a Teen Dance will be held at PACT <br />Charter School on Ramsey Bou- <br />levard. The Teen Dance is open <br />to children in fifth through eighth <br />grades. Join us for this exciting night <br />for Ramsey youth. <br />The Happy Days Commit- <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />tee is always lool(ing for additional <br />volunteers and support to mal(e this <br />celebration a continued success. The <br />Committee is looking for new and in- <br />novative events to add to our already <br />great list of offered events. After a year absence, <br />the annual city of Ramsey Happy <br />Days Photo Contest is returning. The <br />categories are as follows: <br />· Furry and Feathered Friends: <br />Capture a pose that will in- <br />clude wild animals, birds, etc. <br />· Landscapes: Capture the <br />natural beauty, colors, or <br />geologic interest of the city <br />of Ramsey. <br /> <br />· Vintage: Pictures of Ramsey <br />circa 1974. <br />Rules, dates, and forms are <br />posted on the city website at www. <br />ci.ramsey.mn.us and are also avail- <br />able at the city of Ramsey Municipal <br />Center located at 7550 Sunwood <br />Drive NW, Ramsey.
