Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #14: Approve Initial Phase I Development of Alpine Park <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder presented the concept plan for Alpine Park and also the latest <br />estimate of construction costs of that park divided into two phases. Phase 1 is projects to be <br />constructed in the next couple of years and phase 2 is everything else. Staff is asking preliminary <br />plat approval and authorization to go out for bids on phase 1, using the same firms as in the past <br />years, which are John Oliver and Associates, Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. and MSA, Inc. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Haas Steffen and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to approve the <br />park concept plan and authorize staff to seek proposals for basic engineering services and the <br />preparation of a bidding document. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Haas Steffen, Beyer, Beahen and <br />Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #15: Report from Road and Bridge Committee <br /> <br />1) Well No. 3 and No. 4 Update <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski reported that the Road and Bridge Committee discussed a modification <br />to the existing contract on Well No. 3 and doing a test well prior to the construction of Well No. <br />4. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Haas Steffen to <br />approve the change order authorizing changes in the scope of the Well House No. 2 and Well No. <br />4 projects. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Haas Steffen, <br />Beahen and Beyer. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />2) Establish Priority for County Transportation Projects <br /> <br />Mr. Jankowski stated that a meeting will be scheduled within the next couple of weeks with <br />Anoka County, the Highway Department and MnDOT. At that meeting, we will be discussing <br />future projects and the phoritization of them. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />Consideration of Replacing Chapter 8.30 of City Code (Sewage Disposal Systems) <br />with Minnesota Rules Chapter 7080 <br /> <br />Mr. Jankowski reported there was no time to discuss this issue, therefore, it will be on the next <br />Road and Bridge Committee agenda. <br /> <br />City Council/June 10, 1997 <br /> Page 13 of 17 <br /> <br /> <br />
