<br />maintenance of a sign or for a change of copy on printed, or changeable copy signs. Permits are <br />required for all existing, new, relocated, modified or redesigned signs that are not exempted <br />under 99.12.16. <br /> <br />9.12.12 Permit Fees. The permit fee for permanent and temporary signs shall be as <br />provided by City Council resolution. <br /> <br />9.12.13 <br /> <br />Exemptions <br /> <br />Subdivision 1. The exemptions permitted by tIns Section shall apply only to the <br />requirement of a permit and fee and shall not be construed as relieving the installer of the sign, or <br />the owner of the property upon which the sign is located, from conforming to the other <br />. provisions of this Ordinance. The following signs are exempt from a permit and associated fee: <br /> <br />a. Signs, monuments, or seasonal decorations erected on residentially zoned <br />property. Signs installed must follow the provisions set forth within this <br />Section. <br /> <br />b. A window sign not exceeding thirty percent (30%) of the window area. <br /> <br />c. Interior signs which are fully located within the interior of any building or <br />stadium, or within an enclosed lobby or court of any building, or in the <br />lobby or entrance of any theater which are intended solely for information <br />relating to the interior operation of the building in which they are located. <br /> <br />d. Non-commercial speech signs are exempted from a permit fee, but must <br />obtain a permit. <br /> <br />9.12.14 <br /> <br />Permit Application <br /> <br />Subdivision 1. Application for permits shall be made upon forms provided by the <br />Zoning Administrator and shall state or have attached thereto the following information: <br /> <br />a. The names, addresses, and telephone numbers of the applicant, the owner of <br />the parcel on which the sign is to be erected or affixed, the owner of the <br />sign, and the person to be erecting or affixing the sign. <br /> <br />b. Type of sign. <br /> <br />c. Type of construction materials to be used. <br /> <br />d. Location of building, structure or parcel to which, or upon which, the sign is <br />to be attached or erected. <br /> <br />144 <br />
