<br />was compelled to initiate this action to clearly articulate the status of the various <br />agreements between the City and the developer that defined the park land contributions, <br />infrastructure improvements, and amenities of the project. We also wanted to ensure that <br />any potential buyers of land in the project were aware of the agreements before <br />purchasing the land. <br /> <br />It is important to reiterate that the business dealings reported in the Pioneer Press and the <br />Star Tribune are between the banks and the deceased developer's estate; the City's <br />interests are protected and our investments in the project are in the ground. <br /> <br />The City looks forward to the outcome of the rescheduled land sale on July 27th so that <br />the City and the new owner of the property'can work together to successfully move the <br />Ramsey Town Center project forward. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated overafl the City is very well protected on this matter. They are hoping there <br />is a successful sale on the 2ih and they will know where they stand and continue ahead. <br /> <br />Interim City Administrator Nelson stated if there are any residents with questions or concerns <br />about the information presented staff is prepared to respond to any of those questions. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Olson, to approve the agenda as <br />submitted. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Elvig, Olson, Dehen, Jeffrey, <br />Look, and Strommen.
