Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #07- 08 -XXX <br />RESOLUTION FOR THE TRANSFER OF $7200 FROM THE EQUIPMENT <br />REPLACEMENT FUND FOR THE PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF CARPET <br />AT FIRE STATION #1. <br />WHEREAS, the fire station completed in 2001 was utilized as a council chambers and <br />meeting facility for many public meetings, and <br />WHEREAS, heavy use of this room has caused the carpet to be in need of replacement, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the cost of purchase and installation of said carpet has been estimated at <br />$7200, and <br />WHEREAS, funding for this project will be created by a transfer from the Equipment <br />Replacement Fund. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1.) The City Council hereby authorizes the transfer of $7200 from the Equipment Replacement <br />Fund to the Improvements Other Than Buildings line item 46530 -220. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof- <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said ' resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 14 day of August 2007. <br />ATTEST: <br />Mayor <br />City Administrator <br />
