<br />- 4 - <br /> <br />~ Section 1.1, Paragraph I, and shall be held, transfer.red, sold, <br /> <br />used, conveyed and occupied subject to this Declaration. There <br />is no Common Property contained within the Property. <br />Section 2.2 Transfer of Lots. The lots shall be freely <br />transferable in accordance with the applicable laws of the State <br />of Minnesota and the provisions of the Governing Documents; <br /> <br />provided, that the share of an Owner in the assets of the <br />Association, and the Owner's rights and obligations as a member <br />of the Association cannot be assigned, pledged, encumbered, <br /> <br />conveyed or transferred in any manner, except as an appurtenance <br /> <br />to his or her. lot. <br /> <br />ARTICLE III. <br />MEMBERSHIP AND VOTING RIGHTS IN THE ASSOCIATION <br /> <br />Section 3.1 Membership. The qualifications of members and <br /> <br />the manner of their admission into the Associa~ion shall be as <br /> <br />follows: <br /> <br />a. Every owner shall, solely by virtue of such ownership. <br />interest, be a member of this Association, and such <br />membership shall automatically cease when the person is <br />no longer an Owner. When one or more persons is an <br />Owner, all such persons shall be members. <br /> <br />b. It shall be the duty of each Owner (or Occupant if the <br />Owner is not occupying the house) to register his name, <br />his Lot address, the name and address of his First <br />Mortgagee, and the nature of his interest with the <br />Secretary of the Association. If the Owner does not so <br />register, the Association shall be under no duty to <br />recognize his ownership for purposes of relating to the <br />operation of the Association, including voting, but such <br />failure to register shall not relieve the Owner of his <br />obligations under the Governing Documents. <br /> <br />c. Membership in the association is appurtenant to <br />ownership of a Lot, and transfers of any interest of any <br /> <br />
