<br />9.12.06 <br /> <br />76 <br /> <br />may not be more than 5 feet in height. Any signs required by Federal ADA <br />statutes are exempt from these regulations. Any additional signs in parking <br />lots are subject to review by the Zoning Administrator. Signs in parking lots <br />shall count toward total allowable signage. <br /> <br />f. Number of signs. No business shall have more than one permanent ground <br />sign per street frontage. Temporary signs are limited to one per parcel at any <br />single point in time, or two for a multi-tenant park or center. <br /> <br />g. Sign Height. No parcel shall contain a permanent sign taller than 25 feet. <br />Temporary signs are limited to 8 feet in height. <br /> <br />h. Sign Location. No part of a sign shall overhang over the space above a <br />property line. No signs are permitted in the right-of-way, unless expressly <br />permitted by this Section. <br /> <br />Industrial Zoning Districts (E-l, E-2) <br /> <br />a. 'Vall, Canopy or Marquee Sign. Total sign area may not exceed fifteen (15) <br />percent of the front Quilding fal(ade. Sign height shall not exceed the top of <br />the parapet wall or, if no parapet wall, sign height shall not exceed the height <br />of the eaves. A wall, canopy or marquee sign may be located on the <br />outermost wall of any principal building but shall not project more than <br />sixteen (16) inches from the wall to which the sign is to be affixed. Where a <br />principal building is devoted to two (2) or more permitted uses, the operator of <br />each such use may install a wall sign upon hislher proportionate share of the <br />building wall to which the sign is to be affixed. The maximum gross surface <br />area of each such wall sign shall be determined by calculating the <br />proportionate share of the area of the building wall, including doors and <br />windows to which the sign is to be affixed and applying such proportion to the <br />total permitted wall sign aggregate gross surface area for the building. The <br />gross surface area of a wall sign may be increased by ten percent (10%) if <br />such wall sign: <br /> <br />1. Consists only of individual, outlined alphabetic, numeric, <br />and/or symbolic characters without background except provided by the <br />building surface to which the sign is to be affixed; and <br /> <br />2. Any illumination, if any, is achieved through shielded <br />illumination, shielded silhouette lighting, or shielded spot lighting but. not any <br />lighting where the light source is visible or exposed on the face or sides of the <br />characters. <br /> <br />b. Ground Signs. There shall not be more than one (1) ground sign for each <br />parcel. The gross surface area of a ground sign shall not exceed one hundred <br />
