The gross surface area of a ground sign shall not exceed one hundred (100) <br />square feet for each exposed face nor exceed an aggregate gross surface area <br />of two hundred square feet. <br /> <br />e. A ground sign shall not project higher than twenty five (25)) feet, as <br />measured from based of sign or grade of the nearest adjacent roadway, <br />whichever is higher. <br /> <br />f. The gross surface area of a multi-tenant center sign shall not exceed one <br />hundred (100) square feet in gross surface area for each exposed face nor <br />exceed an aggregate gross surface area of two hundred (200) square feet; <br />OR shall not exceed 15 square feet multiplied by each business located <br />within the park, whichever is greater. <br /> <br />Subd. 3 Subdivision signs shall be limited to 32 square feet in size and 10 feet in <br />height. These signs are not permitted in the public right-of-way unless <br />authorized by City Council. <br /> <br />9.12.08 <br /> <br />Planned Unit Developments <br /> <br />Subdivision 1. The developer shall be required to submit a sign plan for <br />approval, drawn to scale with elevations. The sign plan shall include but not be limited to the <br />following information: number of signs, type of signs, sign sizes, and type of construction <br />materials. <br /> <br />9.12.09 <br /> <br />Construction Specifications <br /> <br />Subdivision 1. All signs permitted by this Section in excess of sixteen (16) <br />square feet shall be painted, lettered, or faced to the workmanship standards and best commercial <br />practices of companies normally engaged in the business of providing commercial signs, using <br />materials designed and marketed specifically for use on outdoor signs. <br /> <br />Subd.2. In addition to complying with the provisions of this ordinance, all signs <br />shall be constructed in accordance with the applicable provisions of the current edition of the <br />Minnesota State Building Code. <br />Subd. 3. All signs shall be located in such a way that they maintain horizontal <br />and vertical clearance of all electrical power lines and communication lines. <br /> <br />Su bd. 4. All signs and their supporting structures shall maintain clearance and <br />non-interference with all surface and underground facilities and conduits for water, sewage, gas, <br />electricity, or communications equipment or lines.
