<br />Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ENDING THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD <br />. FQR A UTILITIES MAINTENANCE WORKER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in the 2007 General Fund Budget, the City Council created a new <br />full-time regular Utilities Maintenance Worker position; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Jeff Erickson was hired as a full-time regular Utilities Maintenance <br />Worker on February 28,2007; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Erickson has successfully completed the required six-month <br />probationary period; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee, at its September 11, 2007 meeting <br />agreed with staff s recommendation to end the probationary period for Mr. Erickson. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the <br />Personnel Committee to end the probationary period for Jeff Erickson, effective <br />August 28,2007, and to retain Mr. Erickson as a full-time regular Utilities <br />Maintenance Worker. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council the 11th day of September 2007. <br /> <br />G:\Administration\HumanResourceslPerfonnance EvaluationslEnding ProbationlErickson, Jeff 9-11-07.doc <br /> <br />-234- <br />
