Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for.its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION # <br />CONSIDER RESOLUTION APPOINTING <br />BOARD AND COMMISSION MEMBERS <br />WHEREAS, as of January 1, 2008 there will be one vacant seat on the Park and <br />Recreation Commission and one vacant seat on the Environmental Policy Board; and <br />WHEREAS, the vacancies have been advertised in the Ramsey Resident, the <br />Anoka County Union - Shopper, on the City's website and QCTV; and <br />WHEREAS, the interview panel made the following recommendations for <br />appointments: <br />Park and Recreation Commission - -Mr. Randy Backus (2008 -2011) <br />Environmental Policy Board - -Mr. Thomas Stodola (2008 -2011) <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the <br />Personnel Committee to make the following appointments: <br />Park and Recreation Commission <br />• Mr. Randy Backus (2008 -2011) <br />Environmental Policy Board <br />Mr. Thomas Stodola (2008 -2011) <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 23 day of October 2007. <br />— 214 — C:\Documents and SettingApmiller\Local SettingATemporary Internet Files \OLKA \10.23 -07 Reso appt commissioners.doc <br />
