There are neighbors near'by and
he wondered if there was anything they were looking at to mitigate the noise.

Mr. Gruber stated he can understand the concerns of the neighbors because he can hear the noise
from the Anoka County Fair seven days a week when it is there and he lives about a mile froni
there. He stated one of the comments he would like to make to make the neighbors feel more
comfortable is that instead of having almost nine months of events, seven days a week at
Diamonds with the softball they would have about the same as the County Fair and instead of
having all the events going on in a weeks time, it is spread out. He stated the winter events are
,not for sure and he would be willing to scrap them if needed.

Commissioner Cleveland asked what events would be the loudest ones and when would they
happen.

Planning Commission/October 4, 2007
Page 5 of9

P5
