PERSONNEL COMMITTEE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />The Personnel Committee conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, October 23, 2007, at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br />Members Present: Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember John Dehen <br />Councilmember Mary Jo .Olson <br />Members Absent: Chairperson David Jeffrey <br />Also Present: Assistant City Administrator Heidi A. Nelson <br />Police Chief James Way <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Vice-Chairperson Olson called the regular meeting of the Personnel Committee to order at 5:55 <br />p.m. <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br />There was none. <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec, seconded by Councilmember Dehen, to approve the agenda as <br />submitted. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Dehen and Olson. Voting No: <br />None. Absent: Chairperson Jeffrey. <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br />Case #1: Consider a Resolution Appointing Board and Commission Members <br />Assistant City Administrator Nelson stated that board and commission incumbents whose terms <br />were about to expire were invited to reapply. Jon Olds who currently serves on both the Park <br />and Recreation Commission and the Environmental Policy Board declined to reapply. She stated <br />that the Personnel Committee, on behalf of the interview panel, recommends that these vacancies <br />be filled by appointing Randy Backus to the Park and Recreation Commission and Thomas <br />Stodola to the Environmental Policy Board.
