Commissioner Deemer stated that the billboard on the property was non-conforming. Mr. <br />Miller advised that the billboard will be coming down. <br /> <br />Mr. Miller inquired regarding the intent and purpose of the transportation fee. Mr. <br />Jankowski stated that the intent was to address the cost of a major arterial system and the <br />additional traffic costs caused from the development. <br /> <br />Commissioner Holland asked how high the highest point of the building was. Mr. Miller <br />stated that the highest point was 34 feet. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Holland and seconded by Commissioner Deemer to recommend <br />the City Council approve the site plan contingent on compliance with the City Staffreview <br />letter with nothing more than a right in only from T.H. #10 dependant on Mn/DOT's <br />concurrence and DNR certification of the variance. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Holland, Deemer, <br />Jensen, LaDue, Terry, and Thorud. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #6: <br /> <br />Proposed Ordinance to Amend Chapters 5 and 9 of Ramsey City Code <br />Regarding Parking and Storing Vehicles and Equipment in Residential <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Holland to recommend <br />that the City Council adopt ordinances to amend Chapter 5 and Chapter 9 as presented. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Holland, Jensen, <br />LaDue, Terry and Thorud. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #7: <br /> <br />Proposed Ordinance to Amend Lighting Standards in the B-l, B-2, B-3, <br />BW, and Industrial Districts <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer seconded by Commissioner Holland to recommend that <br />the City Council adopt an ordinance to amend Chapter 9 regarding lighting of commercial <br />districts. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Holland, <br />Jensen, LaDue, Terry and Thorud.
