Absent: None. <br /> <br />It was agreed that input from the affected property owners would be considered in the placement <br />of the culvert. <br /> <br />Case #5: Monthly Status Report <br /> <br />Chairperson Bawden noted the Monthly Status Report information. <br /> <br />In response to Commissioner Deemer, the item dated 11/12/96 RE: CUP for the group home is <br />still listed as "pending" as it will be discussed at the December 10, 1996, Council meeting. <br /> <br />Case #6: Zoning Bulletin and Zoning News <br /> <br />Chairperson Bawden noted the Zoning Bulletin and Zoning News <br /> <br />Case #7: Subcommittee RE: Shoreland Ordinances <br /> <br />Commissioner Deemer noted that there will be a meeting with DNR personnel on Thursday, <br />December 12, 1996 at 1 p.m. at City Hall regarding shoreland rules. Commissioner Deemer <br />encouraged representation from the Commission at this meeting. Commissioner Deemer and <br />Chairperson Bawden indicated they will be able to attend. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Holland and seconded by Commissioner Deemer for Commission <br />members to attend the meeting on December 12, 1996, at 1 p.m. at City Hall and report <br />correlating meeting information at the next regular Planning Commission meeting. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Absent: None. <br /> <br />COMMISSION INPUT <br /> <br />Grading and Filling Permits <br />Commissioner Thorud questioned what future proactive measures could be taken to ensure <br />permits are obtained prior to a prospective applicant completing any work related to permit <br />approval. Mr. Jankowski responded some type of educational effort of the public (i.e. newspaper <br />article) might be helpful. Commissioners Holland and Thorud agreed a newspaper article would <br />suffice. In response to Commissioner Deemer, Mr. Jankowski will formulate an educational <br />article consisting of 200 words or less. <br /> <br />Signage <br />Commissioner Deemer inquired about potential placement of a sign on Highway #10 providing <br />directional information to "Riverdale" traffic.
