Council Business <br /> <br />Mayor Hardin called the regular portion of the City Council meeting back to order at 7:48 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Hardin adjourned the regular portion of the City Council meeting at 7:48 p.m. in order to <br />conduct the public hearing. <br /> <br />Public Hearing, <br /> <br />g96-09: Stanhope Terrace Addition <br />Mayor Hardin called the public hearing to order at 7:48 p.m. <br /> <br />Citizen Input <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to close the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Beyer, Beahen and <br />Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />The public hearing adjourned at 7:48 p.m. <br /> <br />Council Business <br /> <br />Mayor Hardin called the regular portion of the City Council meeting back to order at 7:48 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Hardin adjourned the regular portion of the City Council meeting at 7:48 p.m. in order to <br />conduct the public hearing. <br /> <br />Public Hearine <br /> <br />g96-I0: North Half of Sections 22 and 23 Unplatted <br /> <br />Mayor Hardin called the public hearing to order at 7:49 p.m. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski explained that this is an unplatted area having relatively similar lot sizes. <br />Citizen Input <br /> <br />Amy Haugen, 7041 - 156th Avenue NW, Ramsey, stated their road was paved in 1989 and they <br />are still paying off that assessment. Now this will be an additional $42.00 plus an assessment for <br />drainage. She felt she was being "assessed to death". She inquired when the City will decide it <br />should get taken out of the general taxes. She also inquired how often other cities are sealcoating <br />their streets. <br /> <br />Mr. Jankowski replied that other cities generally have the same schedule - f~ve to seven/eight years. <br /> <br />Ms. Haugen thought that sounded rather often.
